Instructional Tennis Camp at Cleveland Park
This is one of the newest instructional programs that the staff offers. Kids ages 6-12 will learn the fundamental skills of tennis such as holding the racket, volleying the ball, serving, and basic rules. Children will be divided by age & skill level. Play will be held at Cleveland Park tennis courts.

Session: weekly; Monday to Friday; June 14 through August 6 (no camp the week of July 5)

Entry fee: one week session is $50.00. The fee includes daily tennis instruction, T-shirt, snacks/sports drinks and camp picture.

Ages: 6 – 12 year old

The Tennis Program
The objectives of our camp are to reach each campers specific needs for basic skills development. Campers are grouped into beginners or intermediate according to ability, age and size.

Our intentions are to design a program which includes:
Fundamental skills, personal instruction, drills, conditioning, play, and group sessions.

The Staff

All counselors are experienced in working with youth tennis instruction. Counselors are 5 to 1 student teacher ratio pending group. All counselors will emphasize positive attitudes and good sportsmanship.

Rules and General Information

A medical questionnaire and release form must be completed and returned prior to participation.

Campers are to check-in each day at Cleveland Park Center (2 Cleveland Park Dr).
Parents must pick up campers by 12:15 p.m. Late stay with prior notice.

No campers are allowed off the premises at any time unless with parent or guardian with written permission.

Recommended items to bring: sunscreen, hat with bill, water bottle, light color sporting attire and tennis rackets. Extra tennis rackets are available if needed.

Camp is open rain or shine. During inclement weather, campers will be housed at the Cleveland Park Center/Annex. Indoor activities will be provided.
